We had such a great weekend! Saturday night was the big UNLV vs BYU game here in Vegas! My sister Brook her husband Travis and her two girls, Halle and Lauryn came from St. George and my brother Jade and his girlfriend Kelsey! We ventured out, the weather was perfect for a football! We took all the kids, Brook and I thought for sure we would be coming home by half time! They surprised us all and lasted the whole game! Elliott was so excited to take Gavin to his FIRST FOOTBALL game! Gavin loved cheering and would clap and get excited when the crowd cheered! We were almost at the very top of the stadium, in the UNLV student section, with a bunch of drunks! Jade was the only one rooting for the UNLV rebels! BYU ended up winning, GOOOOO COUGARS! On Sunday, Gavin wore his first white collared shirt and tie to church! Him and Elliott looked like twiners! CUTE BOYS!
On Sunday night Gladys Knight directs a choir, Saints Unified Voices, here in Vegas!
They put on a concert/fireside at a local stake center! Gladys is so funny, she is very animated when she directs! The choir was amazing! Gladys told of her conversion to the church and bore her testimony. It wasn't the typical mormon choir though, lots of clapping and different songs! All in all, it was a great weekend once again!
